Birthday Bash

Looking back...
Most of my birthdays were spent in the White Mountains at the Whiting Homestead.
I loved hanging out with cousins and having a grand old time. The best part about it was I usually got 2 birthday parties. One with the cousins in the mountains and one with friends at home in the pool! Here's a quick look back on some good memories of my earlier birthdays.

Me in the Red Glasses (3 years old)Obviously I'm the one in opening the presents. Darby is next to me wearing the same shirt (4 years old)In the middle wearing Red again, it must have been my favorite color. (6 years old)Blowing out the candles, check out Allison "posing" next to me. (6 years old)I am glad this is a far away picture...it's such an awkward age. (13 yeas old)
This year I got the best present any Aunt can hope for, Mini Me (so that's not her name but it works right?) was born on my birthday! I have little birthday buddy (I apologize to all of my other nieces and nephews...I officially have a favorite).

Samarah and her new sister

After visiting Mini Me and her parents in the hospital Erik and I went out on the town to celebrate my birthday. It was pouring like crazy, but we descided to be crazy and go out anyways. We started the night off at Joe's Real BBQ (Because you can eat for free on your birthday and it was yummy! Next we went to go and see Wall E and throughly enjoyed our selves. If you are going to see an intelectal movie...this is not the one for you. It lacked a plot but we still liked it. Erik was chuckling long after each comedic section and I couldn't help laughing right out loud (well as loud as I laugh...hehehe (shake shoulders...that's for you Valerie)
Can
Can you tell I am soaked in the picture?
and I couldn't help laughing right out loud (well as loud as I laugh...hehehe (shake shoulders)

Stacy, my dad and his brothers can all be in the same room busting their gut, and you wouldn't hear a sound! It's hilarious just watching. Me, I was a lucky mix of both my parents, shakes & loudness. Oh well.

Happy birthday! I'm glad you got to go to Joe's and feel special.
